Synopsis
An Anishinabek legend translated to film by youth artists working with mentoring filmmakers, Eagle vs. Sparrow is about the traditional grandfather teaching of ‘humility’. A colourful cast of half humans-half animals, bring to life this unique high school drama as an embattled Eagle is eventually forced to race an over-confident Sparrow. Made by students from Dryden High School in cooperation with the Community Arts and Heritage Education Project (CAHEP) and Thunderstone Pictures.
